Early Years & Education
Simon's musical education began with violin lessons at the age of five. Ten months later he took up the piano and then at the age of twelve he was offered a place to study piano and violin at the Royal Academy of Music . Benjamin continued to study both disciplines at the Royal Academy in conjunction with a degree in Music at Bristol University. During this time he was an award-winner at the Royal Academy of Music and from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
Weddings & Events
Simon has played at weddings and events for over 30 years - it is difficult to find a musician with a broader range of event experience. Simon has been privileged to perform at some of the country’s most beautiful wedding venues, stately homes, cathedrals and churches. He is now a recommended wsupplier for many established edding venues throughout the South of England. Corporate work has included events for the BBC, Peugeot, ITV, Channel 5, Moonpig.com and Land Rover as well as several banks.
Simon is a highly respected teacher, with pupils travelling to him from London and Oxford. He teaches at two independent schools and has been invited to adjudicate at several national music festivals.
