about
Simon Jordan
Simon Jordan is a musician with a broad and stylistically diverse career as a pianist, keyboard player, violin player, singer, songwriter, arranger, composer and teacher of music. Notable stage performances include a solo concerto at the Royal Festival Hall, annual performances for the Prime Minister’s Christmas Party at Chequers, and recitals at concert venues across Europe and beyond.
Early Years & Education
Simon's musical education began with violin lessons at the age of five. Ten months later he took up the piano and then at the age of twelve he was offered a place to study piano and violin at the Royal Academy of Music. Simon continued to study both disciplines at the Royal Academy in conjunction with a degree in Music at Bristol University. During this time he was an award-winner at the Royal Academy of Music and from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
Weddings & Events
Simon has played at weddings and events for over 30 years - it is difficult to find a musician with a broader range of event experience. Simon has been privileged to perform at some of the country’s most beautiful wedding venues, stately homes, cathedrals and churches. He is now a recommended supplier for many established wedding venues throughout the South of England. Corporate work has included events for the BBC, Peugeot, ITV, Channel 5, Moonpig.com and Land Rover as well as several banks.
