Simon Jordan
Simon Jordan started playing the violin at age 5, and by age 14 had already achieved Grade 8 with distinction. At age 13 Simon gave his first violin recital (a sell-out) and at age 17 was gigging with bands in London, playing jazz at the Royal Festival Hall, and performing with legendary gypsy bands behind the Iron Curtain in Hungary and the former Czechoslovakia.
You may want Simon to play solo violin at your wedding - or to perform with a pianist. His regular performing partners are pianists Stuart Bonner and Martyn Croston. The combination of violin and piano is much more versatile than a string quartet - which, for some reason, ALWAYS sounds like a string quartet - and will work better than a solo violin if you require a musical performance for a long period of time. Simon can provide and bring his own piano; and also amplification for both violin and piano, if the wedding or the venue is big enough!
