Simon
is an award-winning violinist who studied at the Royal Academy
of Music for six years, winning the Academy's Violin Prize. He
has performed Vivaldi's Four Seasons on tour around Europe as
a soloist.
Simon
started playing the violin at age 5, and by age 14 he had achieved
Grade 8 with distinction. At age 13 he had given his first violin
recital (a sell-out) and at age 17 was gigging with bands in London,
playing jazz at the Royal Festival Hall, and performing with legendary
gypsy bands behind the Iron Curtain in Hungary and the former
Czechoslovakia.
You
may want Simon to play solo violin at your wedding - or to perform
with a pianist. His regular performing partner is pianist Stuart
Bonner, who trained at Trinity College and now is a respected
music tutor in South Bucks. Simon will work with you or
to your brief to compile a carefully crafted programme of music,
making his own arrangements of music weeks before the event.
The
perfect soundtrack to your wedding breakfast, drinks reception
or civil ceremony from one of the country's most versatile and
accomplished violinists.
